Dog training support from the comfort of your own home - in person or online.

Is your dog pulling on the lead? Not coming when called? Jumping up?

Do you have a new dog who would benefit from learning some basic obedience and manners?

Would your existing dog benefit from a refresher, a new way of learning something, or to start from the beginning?

Whatever you need support with, I'm here to help.

Do you want to cut through the fog of all the conflicting advice you keep reading online?

If you want to learn appropriate, kind and effective ways to teach your dog something new, or problem solve and re-train something you have already tried, you have come to the right place.

My job is to find the most appropriate support for you and the best friend you have in front of you whilst always being kind and understanding.

Private training sessions can help with teaching specific things such as:

- Walking nicely on the lead

- Coming when called

- Greeting people politely

- Teaching basic obedience such as general manners

Sometimes there is more to it...

If your dog is showing other behaviours which are contributing to the problem, you will need to book a behaviour consultation instead. Details for this can be found here.

If the reason your dog is pulling on the lead, not coming when called, or jumping up is related to something more complex, a training package will need to be turned into a behaviour one. Please see the behaviour support page for further information.

How it works:

Reach out to me

Get in touch to let me know what you would like support with. I will let you know how best I can help you and what availability I have coming up. I will also send you a couple of forms and payment information for you to complete and send back to me to confirm your booking.

02

Initial session

We will start with an initial session lasting up to 90 minutes to discuss your needs and set out a training plan that fits both your dog's needs and your abilities. If the training is due to a problem we will talk about what is happening, why we think that is, and the best way to move forwards.

After the session you will receive written notes, information sheets or video links to support what we have covered. These are for you to refer back to between sessions if you need them.

03

Follow-up session

We will book another session of up to 60 minutes within a few weeks to give us chance to review how the training has been going, add in further steps to progress what you have started, or problem solve anything that hasn't gone as planned.

In some cases, two sessions are plenty to cover what is needed, but if more things need to be covered or the training is to be progressed in several stages it may be advised to book several follow-up sessions to cover everything you need.

I'm always happy to chat about what a timescale may look like before any bookings are made, so please do ask if you are unsure.

1:1 Training Sessions

Initial support package
£100*

A 90 minute introductory session in your home, online, or at my secure paddock to discuss your needs and provide the initial support you are looking for. Written notes are included to refer back to when you need them. This is followed by one 60 minute session within a few weeks to see how things are going and progress what we have started.

Additional follow-up sessions from £40*

If you would like me to support you as you go, if there are several stages to the training, or if there is lots to cover, additional sessions of up to 60 minutes each can be booked on a pay as you go basis to suit your needs.

* Mileage fees may also apply for home visits, but these can be calculated up front.

"Everyone in the park was very impressed...”

"Our new recall is working very well. Everyone in the park was very impressed and have had no issues catching him. He wants to run with me and play and if he senses I want to put the lead on he just sits patiently waiting for a treat. Can't believe it was that easy. Thanks again."
